OpenSIPS SBC
Community Edition
The OpenSIPS SBC Community Edition is a fully functional OpenSIPS-based Session Border Controller platform designed to secure and control SIP traffic between endpoints, core SIP platforms, PBXs and PSTN carriers. It provides the core SBC functions required at the SIP network edge: topology hiding, NAT traversal, media relaying, SIP registration handling, call routing, PSTN interconnection, failover and operational monitoring.
The platform is suitable for single-tenant deployments, lab environments, proof-of-concept setups and small to medium SIP infrastructures that need a ready-to-run SBC based on OpenSIPS. See the full feature set below.
- Topology hiding for all calls
- NAT traversal for SIP endpoints
- Mid-registrar support
- Primary / failover routing across core servers
- PSTN routing via gateways and rules
- Provisioning web interface

Feature Set
Docker architecture
The OpenSIPS SBC consists of a set of three containers:
- OpenSIPS SIP Server
- MySQL Database
- OpenSIPS Control Panel
- RTPEngine relay
All containers run on the host network, making the SBC services directly available through the host IP.
